Description
Francisco dos Santos is Vice-president of the Board of Directors of FCT (Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia). Full Professor (Prof. Catedrático) at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), University of Lisbon (Portugal).
My research focuses on the development of computational tools to understand collective dynamics in social and life sciences. In the last years, I have been working on problems related to the evolution of cooperation, human social norms, environmental governance, network science, city planning, and the impact of technology on human behaviour.
